COVID-19 Youth Sports Guidelines

  1. Due to baseball being a moderate-risk sport, there are mandatory guidelines that we must follow per CDC, NY State, and Babe Ruth guidelines.

  2. Limit of 200 people on site.

  3. Maintain 6 ft. distance between individuals at all times unless core activity (practicing, playing) requires a shorter distance. If shorter distance is required, individuals must wear face coverings, unless players are unable to tolerate such a covering for the physical activity; provided coaches, trainers, players (not on the field), volunteers and spectators wear face coverings.

  4. Shared equipment is discouraged due to cleaning requirements. Please ensure players have their own equipment such as helmets, bats, and gloves.

  5. When checking in to the field, appropriate face coverings must be utilized. Acceptable face coverings include but are not limited to cloth (e.g. homemade sewn, quick cut, bandana) or surgical masks.

  6. All volunteers must complete a mandatory health screening. questionnaire before reporting to practices and games.
